The service
Stirrup is a private network where trainers list horses for sale or lease and share them with trainers and clients they choose. It is operated by Felipe Fernandez Jimenez, doing business as Stirrup, New York, NY. By using Stirrup you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Your account
- Stirrup is invitation only and for professionals 18 or older.
- Keep your sign-in details and your WhatsApp account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give accurate details. We may suspend accounts that misuse Stirrup.
Your listings
- You list only horses you are authorized to offer, with accurate details, prices and terms.
- You own what you upload. You let us store, display and share it as needed to run Stirrup and as your visibility settings allow.
- Do not upload content you have no right to, or that is unlawful, misleading or abusive.
Deals
Stirrup is not a party to any sale or lease. Trainers, owners and buyers agree terms, vetting, payment and transport between themselves. We do not verify horses, health records or ownership.
If you connect WhatsApp, you agree to receive messages from Stirrup about your listings, inquiries, connections and account. Send STOP to stop them. WhatsApp's own terms also apply.
Fees
Stirrup is free during the pilot. If we add paid features, we publish the prices first, and you choose whether to use them.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Stirrup available and accurate, but it is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for deals made between users.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time: see data deletion. We may close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If we change these terms, we update the date above and tell active trainers when the change matters. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
